Issue 4584

Is there a distribution problem with the latest issue 4584. I have not recieved my subscription copy not have several other subscribers in the SP and SO post code areas. This happened a couple of years ago so is it a case of the post office loosing another mailbag or the distributor failing to fill it.

My copy of 4584 has not arrived yet – postal area EX, in Devon. I saw that it was in the shops at the end of last week.

The distribution system does seem to have problems; I think that this is the sixth issue that has been late, or missing altogether, in the past twelve or fourteen months. Very irrritating for a long term subscriber.

Have to say that Ramon Wilson looks very dapper in his pin stripe jacket and straw boater.

As does the young lady in period costume photographed with him.

Really enjoyed the wide awake article, if only I could?

Phoned subscriptions today all they can do is add an extra issue. They say they dont have any copies of 4584 to send out. Which is a pity. There is obviously another glitch in the subscription distribution system, probably on the part of the post office, since 4584 was in the local newsagents last week.

As it's only a week or so after normal delivery date this often means that the spare copies haven't reached stock yet.

I have just taken out a subscription so I am a bit disappointed that the second issue I was expecting has not turned up either.

My copy didn’t reach mid Dorset either- but subscriptions pooped a couple of extra issues onto my subscription this afternoon and I luckily got the last copy from WHSmith- not ideal but these things happen sometimes!

Just been into town and got a copy in WH Smith, they still have a couple on the shelf. If this another lost mailbag I hope someone holds Royal Mail to account for it, it was not long ago that it last happened.

I have checked and the spare copies are not yet in stock. If you call subs on Monday they should be showing in stock to allow you to ask for replacement.

I have been in touch with Kate and she has changed the system as a quirk in it was holding them up for a week at the printers, they should now get into stock rather earlier.
