      Hi There
Email me the letter. Make sure subscriber number is readable.
You will be able to access about 12 back issues of the magazine.
You do have to pay to access the entire archive.
As I have not seen the letter, I will check it out when I receive a copy.

You have entered a 5 figure subscription nember. You need to enter an eight figure number.
Perhaps that is why you can’t access back issues?
      regards David

Thanks for the offer, Andy.  But I think we’re on different continents, mate.  I phoned ExpressMag to send me a new one.  Now I just have to be patient.

Bit of confusion here chaps. MikeK may well be on a different continent, but Michael Kilpatrick 1 is only a few miles away from AndyP. Unfortunately Michael K. has signed of as “Mike”. Anyway, moving hastily on……………

            David Clark 1,

Michael Kilpatrick 1 is in South Cumbria, whilst Mark Dickinson and myself are in North Cumbria. Also, my official copy of Issue 171 hasn’t yet turned up. (Thanks once again for the specially posted copy.) All of which still suggests that there is something odd going on. Furthermore, Issue 172 hasn’t yet turned up and it’s due in the shops tomorrow. I do hope this one isn’t going to go missing as well. Mind you, I do accept that it’s rapidly approaching Christmas, and there has been, with more to come, snow & ice,  but cards, other stuff and junk mail is still arriving, but some parcels are now in delay. So please take this as an advance warning of possible non-delivery.

            Regards,

I hadn’t even realised 172 was out tomorrow as I only got 171 last week (thankyou David for sorting for me) I’ve still to receive the latest M.E. So I’ll probably be emailing about that.

                Hi There
I have not received 172 or 4393 from the postman. I believe they are both on sale today.
There were big problems with snow at the office and possibly at the printers.
                regards David

Hi, no MEW 172, no ME 4393, in this corner of England so far either.

                    Regards Nick.

                      Hi There
Postman did not bother to come today.
                      Nothing in Scotland.
I have received copies direct from printers so they do exist.

Please note that ME4393 and MEW 172 are online in the digital section.
We also hope to get ME 4394 up before Christmas.
                      regards David

                        Hi
bit of a whoops with the links on the website front page.
under the front cover of MEW 172 it has a link for the contents, which goes to the contents of 171.

however the link in digital issues works ok so I can see what I’m missing due to this rotten snow, which we just had another inch and a half.

                        Cheers

MEW 172 Collected from my local newsagent in Devon today.
That could be useful as, with the threatening snow, a good read will be welcome!

Still awaiting paper subs copy of ME 4393 here (Burton on Trent)!

Should I be calling the office on Monday if it hasn’t arrived?

Surprised that 4394 will be up on the website next week, when is it due in the post?

                              Hi There
Don’t call the office that quickly.
                              Snow is probably to blame.

                              4394 has gone to printers.
                              On sale 31 December.

4395 has to go to printers by Wednesday.

I imagined that 4394 must be in the post if it was going on the web.

I must refrain from looking at the web version as it will spoil the pleasure of reading the paper one in the bath.

Three ebay purchases made on Sunday arrived on Thursday, but hoover belts ordered on Saturday are still to arrive. Normally the latest ME would have been here on Tuesday.

We’ve had no problems with major roads in the Midlands, although some of the back roads have been dodgy. I guess its where things are coming from that is making teh running.

My wife met a postman yesterday, apparently they suspended deliveries for health and safety, then decided they had better start again on Thursday, now it was icy again!

I saw a postman this morning – but not on our road, but they’ve brought the Sunday Post back. It would be nice to get ME every Sunday

Lots of e-bay stuff still outstanding, but Delrin plate arrived so if i can face going in the shed i might do some gear cutting.

                                                    Hi all,
Re my prev. moan 18/12 about ME4393+MEW172.
Monday,20/12, I was in Smiths, Churchill Sq., Brighton as soon as they opened. I counted 9 copies No.4393, 5 copies No.172 and approx a dozen (didnt actually count them) of January EIM. These are the dregs left after the weekend vultures.
I have all 3 by subs but `good ol` snailmail` still failed on Tuesday. I think that as EIM hasnt arrived, it must be our wonderful postal system, not myhobbystore.

What is happening in this country? A bit of snow and a bit of cold, neither of which would have given us a jot of trouble twenty years ago, stops everything. ME 4393 landed on the door mat this morning and people are saying they have received 4394 already!!

Time was nothing would have stopped our postmen, but successive governments have driven down moral to the point where most of them won’t put themselves out – and who can blame them?

And what about our railways? Overhead lines down at Huntingdon this morning  and the ECML is stopped all day. Would never have happened with steam, or even diesel for that matter. Same problem. No spare capacity to recover from any problem.
