My son has taken custody of my modified Kaimac180 Lathe with inverter.

He has overloaded the inverter by trying to cut a thread and it shows error one that means overload.

        How can he reset it?

It never happened in my home and the instruction manual is real shorthand.

On the other hand it was very easy to connect:

Connect the wires ,put power on and here we go.

Removing and restoring power will often reset faults. It’s possible that one of the drive parameters will also clear the fault. Check there is not a reset input that you have not wired.

It’s possible parameter 50 set to 8 may define input X1 as a reset if that inverter is the same as the one I have just read about.

It is quite common (but not universal) to define fault reset to the same terminal as Start when configuring an inverter drive. Some might prefer a separate reset button.
