Got one of these for awkward jobs and it is VERY well made by modern standards

Has an instant on/off rocker for steam delivery

Could be handy for testing Mamod type units

          Ady 1,

Sorry, but I don’t think so. I don’t see a PRV on it anywhere? Maybe it is that ring on the ‘spout’?

The not-quite rocker looks like the electrical on/off switch?

The temperature will be 135 Celsius at 3.2bar.

There is nothing to suggest that the accessories can withstand any pressure above atmospheric.

3-5 minutes to get to 105 Celsius is not exactly instant in my book.

Do you have one? Have you used it?

I would certainly let someone test it before I would buy one!

If you want a committee meeting to spend 15 notes then go for it (but I won't be there)

I have a ‘remarkably similar’ device from another supplier.

It serves its intended purpose very well … but I wouldn’t bother trying to test a Mamod engine with it.

              .

I promise to be suitably impressed when someone demonstrates its capability as a test boiler.

The gauntlet has been cast down!

Actually I'd like to see for myself so will knock up a little mamod type widget

It won't run at 1000rpm…. just something that ticks over a bit before running out of pressure

I will see you in 3 years!

It'll be fine till you put a pipe on the nozzle, then things may get 'interesting'. Just test it on a10M extension lead.
