Hi,I bought these three tool holders after watching a YouTube video a few years ago has anybody done the same a could post the link to the video. The advantage of the three holders is that you can use all eight tips of the insert.I’m looking to order more inserts but when I Google what’s written on the insert box I am having no luck.2B18472B-50DC-48FB-BD34-57B5B2FA07032424B609-5D84-42D9-AB35-A5A2314DB0E96367A5AF-B7F8-415E-A544-274473A2A707

Look like CNMT and the size is probably 09 but may be 12 based on the shank size.

Use this to confirm based on the holder code

Then use this to confirm insert size

I am surprised that given the complixity with insert and tool holders, no retailer has created a calculator where you put in the code from your tool holder and it shows you the range of inserts they offer suitable for your tool. I understand this might be open to abuse (i.e. finding the insert you want then buying it elsewhere cheaper) but I still feel like such a tool would drive the very targetted traffic to the site that companies will often pay for!

If you type in the toolholder reference number in the search box on the Cutwel website it says which inserts the holder is designed for – though in this case it doesn’t recognise the toolholder reference on the OP’s holder (presumably because Cutwel don’t sell this holder).

MCGNR is a bit of an odd holder, in that the only reference Google comes up with is an AliExpress listing which says the holder is intended for a CNMG 120404 (or 120408) insert.
