My Warco WM18 X axis power feed gave up a couple of months ago.

I rang Warco who quoted £429 for a replacement!

So I had a search on Ebay and found THIS

On inspection it loks very similar and so far its works faultlessly.

So there you go if your looking for a replacement

Found what appears to be the same product for £158 (delivered) on Amazon. Time will tell if its any good.

The only reason I can think of for Warco charging well over double the price may be that it will bolt straight on to their machines, no setting up needed?

Does anyone buy at these prices when, typically, they are usually sold for well under £200?

The one i got came with the exact same mounting hardware as the Warco one.  I made an offer and got it for £160

A year ago, they were £130, there are two variations, a 135 lbin and a 450lbin. I'm not sure if the wiring for the stops is high or low or whether the stops are sensitive enough to use up to a shoulder. I have also wondered what the gear meshing with that one in the main illustration looks like.

Nice, shiny, chinese kit. Agree that mark-ups look to be fairly excessive (but maybe there is a high warranty failure rate?). OK for many, but I knocked up a satisfactory long-travel power feed for my little mill for less than thirty quid and some of my time.

One based on this vid: LINK but to suit what I had to hand and a mod to the feed screw.

                  ….

So what went wrong, the motor? Couldn't that be easily replaced?
