I have absolutely no connection with Sweeney Kincaid but I thought that some of the subscribers here might appreciate the sight and cost of some seriously large engineering machinery. Apologies if I have caused offence.

Some impressive looking gear in there btw, it's a pity the reserve price is kept as a secret

To be fair to Ady you used the same sort of language as our wonderful spamming Far Eastern bretheren

Your post does not diminish your intention and Ady's adequately reflects the frustration the rest of us feel about the indiscriminate spammers who are targetting this site of late

Your intentions remain honourable and Ady's wrath remains justifiable

            Hope the sale goes well

                No you don't believe me.

I'm scrapping a long bed TOS, only 7 foot because it attracts the wrong kind of work.

Armatures that literally weight 1 tonne, always at 4:30 at night and required for next morning, crane in, turn under size, crane out and move to welding area, weld damaged journal, move back and crane back in, turn to size, crane out.

In that time I could have done 6 that fit in my hand and earned the same money. With the price of scrap and the fact I can keep the chucks, steadies and big Dickson toolpost with 15 ? holders to sell seperately. it will fetch more than a complete lathe and best thing is – no tyre kickers.

Some pretty big kit there but do not think I would get it into by cellar workshop. Sandy I think we are all getting a bit twitchy about spammers at the moment even had 9 dumped into my spam box when I logged onto my mail, and seem to be targeting the forums but I think David is on top of it as recently there has not been so many on this forum.

Now off to work to earn my can of spam

Everyone have a nice bank holls.

I got into bother for posting a link the last time but I have just had an email from Sweeney Kincaid advising of a forthcoming auction of machinery although they are probably a wee bit big for a home workshop. Google should find it.
