ID background music Michael Portillo Great American Railway Journeys

As a keen enthusiast of the Michael Portillo’s TV Railway journeys I would be very interested in identifying the title of the background music sometimes heard in his Great American Railway series. Difficult to describe it words but to me it has a haunting theme which somehow perfectly compliments the setting and scenery of the old pioneers. Can anyone provide me with is title and perhaps a link to a recording?

No need to download an app if you have an iPhone – it’s built-in (I think it uses Shazam in the background), just say “Hey Siri, what is this music?” and let it listen for a moment.
