Hi, greetings from north Bucks. Now running an S7B, my third Myford in as many decades. Generally supporting household repairs, repurposing salvage, vintage outboards, electronic hobbies, parts for friends’ car builds etc. No religious devotion to live steam, modelling or horology More a case of “every household should have a sewing machine, lathe, mill, pillar drill, MIG, chop saws, vintage concrete mixer, chainsaw, rotovator, trailer collection etc.” Peter

Sounds like a good list equipment!

Having said that, joining a Model Engineering Club will bring you into contact with like mined folk. We are not all puffer nutters, although we enjoy watching them.

Club members often help each other with ideas, advice, practical help, and companionship.

Welcome. A newcomer myself but this forum is an absolute wealth of knowledge. Same lathe as mine. Mines in bits at moment being upgraded to Dro & inverter fitting. + new proper belts.
