Hi I’ve been lurking a while on the forums, read a few mags and thought I’d take the plunge and say hello.

I’ve been planning on setting up a workshop for a while, managed to get the warden to sign of on 3D printer and the bug to create has kicked in.

Always wanted to be a machinist so if you don’t mind I’ll continue to lurk and occasionally pop up with a numb question until I build up enough husband tokens for something cool

Welcome Paul, to start with you probably don't need much of a workshop, the greatest amount of model engineering goes on in the design department situated in the top two inches, once that starts to fill up then is time to turn it into something solid. Keep working on the management.

Hi Paul welcome to the forum where about in South Yorkshire are you, maybe not to far from you, Sutton in Ashfield. There is a few clubs about one I go to as a guest of a friend is in Chesterfield who has a workshop worth a visit. If you need any help there are many people on this forum to help or give advice.
