      Hello all.

      New person here.

More into welding than precision engineering, but I do like things such as 100 year old tools and machinery that still work and don't rust overnight.

Am particularly interested in learning about the Hartmann Whistle, if anyone's an expert. Can be made on a lathe in half an hour apparently. I'd like to know more about its workings and aerodynamics, if that's the right word.

                Welcome Richard

Again no info for you on the whistle, but welcome to France and the small group of members here. I have made contact with several members on here after finally deciding to become a member who have a wealth of knowledge which is nice to tap into.
