Hi

My name is Brendan, I live in Melbourne Australia.

I Have a couple of small lathes a Mill drill and various types of welding gear.

I don't have the skills to be a real model engineer, however I have restored a coupe of Motorcycles ( still have a 69 Bonneville ) and a 1928 model A ford roadster.

I have an engine ( not built by me ) that I hope you guys cant identify.

Hi Brendan, you will find quite a few people on this forum posting early in (our) morning. There are loads of model engineering clubs in Melbourne so you can probably find some like minded people who can turn you into a real model engineer.
