Hi Guys, Im Matt from Bridport in deepest darkest Dorset

I am in the process of kitting myself out a little workshop at home as I don't really have access to a manual lathe at work any more, at my previous job was running 2 Colchester Mastiffs, Tos FNK mill and Archdale Radial Drill, making parts for the oil and gas industry, which was dead handy for making parts for my stationary engines and tractors, now work for a sub contract machine shop running a CNC twin head Goodway.

I have got hold of a Boxford CUD which is not ideal but it was cheap, and I am after some more change gears to allow me to do screwcutting.

Hi Mat Welcome.

Don't worry about the Boxford, we've all got to start somewhere & finances dictate what we get to start with, you can move up the scale at a later date.
