Hemingways bending rolls

Hi All,

I am considering buying the Hemingways bending roll kit and I was wondering if anyone has any experience of it, or if they have the drawings I could look at to see what is involved. Any information would be appreciated.

Hi Steve,

 

Are they the George Thomas design? If so, I bought the kit a few years ago. I’m not into building tools particularly but found the build quite interesting. They are a good useful piece of kit.

Give Kirk a ring at Hemingway, he may sell you a set of drawings which could be credited against a kit purchase.

Unless I’m mistaken (the workshop is 25 miles away at the moment so I can’t check) the drawings and accompanying article are in this book:

which is a great book well worth having on your shelf.
