help with steel boiler build

Hello everyone I am new here!

I have built 3 or so copper boilers for different traction engines over the years but for this project I am looking into building a steel boiler,

The outer dia will be 190mm or 7.5inches or 8 depending…… what sort of thickness will this need to be to allow for some rusting unlike copper ?

What sort of steel tube can I use any or does it need to be boiler tube or something special, anyone know of any good companies that sell them?
