      If you look back in this thread for Hillclimber's post of 11 Sep there is a picture of his table bits and the arbor is on one side.

      Basically 8" of 1" dia round bar driven between centres by a catchplate, with clamp washers at one end (which is threaded 1/2" dia for about an inch or so.) Clamp washers are the usual sawblade clamp type as sen on most small sawbenches, with a rebate on one and a spigot on the other to match the bore of the sawblade.

      I can do you a picture with more detail if you need it.
