Help request – model ships

Trigger warning – this post contains reference to wood

I am searching for a specific wooden model boat kit/plan and not having much luck.

The vessel in question described here – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dahabeah

Perhaps someone here with better knowledge of the Ship Modelling field could provide a few pointers.

Of course there is much “information” to be had on the internet but…… (needle in a haystack thing)

If you have info on the kit manufacturer name, era in which it was on sale etc that could possibly help folks tie it down.

Thank you all who answered – I just want to report some measure of success.

Ches – was not aware of that particular site. No immediate help there but an interesting site. Thanks for the link I am certain that future me will find it very useful.

Michael – as you observe in your search (extra thank you) Dhow = but not limited to dahabeah, dahabeeyah, dahabiah, dahabiya, dahabiyah and dhahabiyya, as well as dahabiyeh and dahabieh and also Ganja, Ghanjah and add to that the original search term I started with was “Cangee” (1st attached image)

Jason – Exactly as you say. Not exactly but at least a start.

In any case I wound up on http://www.shipmodell.com/index_files/SHIPMODELL_DHOW_ARAB.htm

The plans are Dhow but the model (down page) is Dahabeah. Again not exactly what I need but it is something.

Finally, as a point of clarification, this is part of an astronomy project. Much longer story and probably not for here.
