      Hi Everyone,

I’m wondering if anyone can help me trace an engine I’m restoring? I’ve attached some pics of the engine. The engine box bed is 19” long x 8” deep, the cylinder is 1-3/4” bore, flywheel ~8”, By the slot headed screws, casting marks on the box bed and overall build I’m pretty convinced the engine was a commercial engine, not a model engineers engine – I may be wrong though. The only marking I have found on the engine is a circle of center punch marks with a line of center punches part way through it, almost like a reversed capital Q on the underside of the box bed.

I’ve had responses from Stuart, Reeves, PM Research, Keith Appleton and no one has seen this engine before.

Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated!

      Andy
