Help! Drive belt for sander, will a vacuum belt work?

Hi

The drive belt for my Parkside Belt sander broke the other day. Its a 3M 201 belt about 14mm wide. I looked online and all the ones I found were from China and won’t arrive for 2 weeks.

I found some vacuum cleaner belts 3M 201 6.5, which can be posted sooner. I assume that means 6.5mm wide?

Will a 6.5mm belt not be too narrow on my sander?

I suppose you could fit two of the 6.5mm ones side by side.
