Hello all,
I have joined this forum looking for some help.
My father was a keen model engineering enthusiast and up until 3 or 4 years ago a subscriber to the magazine.
However in 2015 he was diagnosed with vascular dementia and has declined ever since. He is now in full time care and my mother took the decision to start clearing out his home workshop.
During the clear out we have come across drawrings for a working scale model of a traction engine plus a number of components he had machined.
Myself, my mother and sisters think it would be great if we could finish the model for him but this is way beyond our skills, as such we are looking for an enthusiast who can help us.
We would of course pay for time and materials, is there anyone who can help?
Also, We have uncovered a working Boley Watch Makers lathe plus a number of collets and manuals – where is the best place to put this up for sale? I can see from the invoice and research on popular auction sites this is valuable piece of kit that is sought after.
Thank you in advance for your help.
