Here's the Allchin Royal Chester that I built for a local chap who used to own the real thing, a bit smaller than anything you are tackling.

I have followed the forum for some time so thought I should join and enjoy the full benefits of the collective knowledge of you good folk.

Ian SC, I used to live in Greendale (the old blacksmiths shop) many years ago.

What scale is your Allchin? Looks good.

Can't remember the scale, it's about 5" long, made by Fine Scale in England. It was made for Mr Doug Worsfold of Greendale, you may have heard of him, he bought the kit on a trip to UK, I did the work on it maybe 30 years ago.

You'll have to get out to Mclean's Island to Steam Scene if toy have an interest in steam, but you probably know the place better than I.
