Over the last week every time I try to read what you lot have been up to I am reminded to log-in first.

Now this could be a problem at my end, but I have not changed any settings recently.

So, is it me or is it the website?

Are you logging on elsewhere? When I log on at work it automatically logs me off at home.

No problems for me so quite possibly your end.

Would help if you said what opperating system, browser etc you are using and has updated itself in the last week – may not even needed you to do anything.

You don't need to log in to read posts but you do if you want to reply.

It does seem to log you out if you disconnect from the internet for a while. If my laptop goes into sleep mode I get logged out.

              Russell.

                You may be:

                • Restricting the use of cookies on your computer.
                • Visiting another MTM website and logging on on it.
                • Using a different computer.
                • Unlucky.

Normally you will get logged out after seven days. Rarely I get logged out when I don't expect it.

You may also have an ISP that dynamically allocates IP addresses. Sometimes domestic IP addresses are stable for a long time, sometimes (much more in the past) your ISP will allocate you one dynamically for every session which may or may not be the same as last time and if different that may log you out.
