I live in a fairly remote part of north Cumbria and could do with a little hands on help with my Stuart S50, in particular the cylinder drillings. To be honest I’m unsure what is supposed to be happening in the cylinder and steam chest.
Is there an engineer out there I can visit for help. I am talking about Carlisle, Penrith, Hexham (Northumbria), Stanhope (Co Durham), all being within 20/30 miles of me. Thanks. Chris.

Chris, I am at the wrong end of the county but there is Carlisle and District Model Engineering Society who list their email as engineering@tesco.net.
I believe they have a raised track in Hammonds Park in Carlisle

Found a phone number now:- 01228 810174 , if that’s out of date blame Yell !!
          Cheers, Andy
