Greetings from Brum

Hi everyone, I've got a home workshop in Birmingham and have built all mannner of things over the years. Recent projects have been a Stuart Major beam engine and an English regulator clock. Currently building a model Harley Davidson V-twin IC engine. I've got a Myford 254 purchased new in 1997 and a recently acquired Chester 830VS milling machine plus the usual collection of other tools. Not had much contact with other model engineers over the years so would be good to find out what is happening locally…..

Welcome Lukas, that's an interesting selection of projects, any chance of pictures?

Just in case you are not aware, the Midlands Model Engineering Exhibition at Leaminton Spa takes place in October (http://www.midlandsmodelengineering.co.uk/) and would be a good place to make contact with other model engineers who are not too far from you. There will be a number of local clubs there.

Welcome along Lukas, I was born in Worcestershire but consider myself a Brummie having lived there most of my life. Now in Staffordshire but not really far from Brum. As BDH says the Midlands exhibition is worth a visit.
