My supplier has a machine that tracks the frame profile with a probe, (right and left separately), which then commands the lens grinder for the correct shape.

Provision is made for the lens to be "oversize" to allow frame screws to tighten the frame to the correct gripping position.

Lens fitted while you wait! Just need to provide lens specification in advance to enable them to be available in shop.
