A bit of a long shot but I wonder if anyone has one of these engines or another image as I'd like to see it from the other side to see what the bearing and eccentric arrangement is rather that take a guess at it based on other similar models.
A bit more progress over the last week, cylinder still needs a bit more work and then the end covers will be profiled to a similar shape. I think this is the smallest flywheel I have made for an engine so will be interesting to see how it runs, I don't expect it to turn over as slowly as I like but that's not really what it was designed for.
Well the JBWeld set overnight but still needs filing down and I have not made the locknut either but thought I would try it on a bit of air. Locked at TDC the first time but an adjustment to the valve rod length soon had the valve centralised and off it went. Should be better with a decent air connection, gland packing and the aforementioned locknut plus a lick of paint but here is the rough and ready version.
I recall a song that sums this up nicely, something like :-
Nice one Jason, nice one son. Nice one Jason, let's have another one.
On a more serious note, well done and good to see the result.

Hi Bill I remember that song Nice one Cyril It was surprising how well it was danced too in my late brother a my newly formed mobile Disco earlier that same year.
Well the old Advert said it was enamelled in red and green so I did not have much colour choice, I also opted for a black bed as per Michael's photo.
I'm quite pleased with how it turned out and considering the small flywheel and short conrod runs reasonably slowly. Also allowed my to do my first double acting piston valve as I had only done single acting before and first time with rod cross head guides.
A video of it running, the table it is sitting on makes it sound a bit loud but soon quietens when I pick it up, it stopped because I put my finger over one of the exhausts. Also looks like a bit too much endplay in the crankshaft so will move the flywheel along a bit.
Excellent, always amazes me how you find these subjects and more the point how you come up with a design and a set of working parts from just external views.
I thought that it came down to a reasonably low speed considering such a small flywheel.
