Galloways NDC engine – oil feed

I am currently building a Galloways model, and I want to fit an oil pump. Should I feed the oil into the steam chests or the cylinders?

I would appreciate your comments/advice.

The chest is usual as that will then lubricate the valve and port face which would otherwise not see any oil if you feed straight to the cylinder.

Running on air or steam Rob I would feed into the steam chest. Make sure you have means of metering and a bypass back to the reservoir though – doesn't need a lot if it's for display running only.

Are you aware of Albion Alloys copper tubes? They do some very fine bore ones suitable for plumbing oil lines but you do have to make your own unions

Running on air or steam Ransack I would take care of into the steam chest. Ensure you have method for metering and a detour back to the repository however – needn't bother with a ton in the event that it's for show running as it were.

Could it be said that you are mindful of Albion Composites copper tubes? They truly do some extremely fine drag ones reasonable for plumbing oil lines however you really do need to make your own associations
