Fusion 360 broken ?

I have had an icon on my desktop for months linking to Fusion 360 student version and it brings up the prog OK until today. Click it and nothing happens. All other icons behave OK. Any one else having the same problem?

Yes, something strange here too. After a minute watching the rotating blue arrow, I get the following message:

>The application has encountered an unexpected authentication error and must be quit <

As I don't really use it, I didn't bother to reinstall it atm.

Mines just loaded OK but I noticed it did an update. In the What's New page Autodesk say it fixes a bug causing crashes on start up. Could be a coincidence, but…

A while back I had a password problem that required a re-install of Fusion. As it was straightforward and no data was lost, it may be worth trying. The instructions were on their website.

I got this problem when my computer had a pending Windows update. After it completed the update Fusion 360 started working.

Mine works fine on my MAC desktop.

Been thrashing mine of late without that kind of problem. I've had one or two other issues of my own making, mind….
