      I am in the process of finishing a 4" Foster compound road loco and need to make the Chimney, Advise and suggestions would be much appreciated

          Ideally do it on a set of rolls where each end can be adjusted separately so you can form the taper. Failing that turn a wooden former and hand bend it over that.

          Most fabrication shops could roll one for you, try Ashby's they do quite a few model traction engine wheels and other bits
