Flexiable Paint Can Turner

Roger Froud’s artical in MEW issue 342

There are some of us that have not caught up with 3D Printing so whilst attaching access to the files to allow these to be made, does not help us who are dragging behind.

Could some basic dimensions be provided especially the gears so us that lag behind can fabricate something.

I could apprximate measurments from looking at the sizes against the dimensioned motor if I have to.

My little paint mixer is a small geared motor with interchangeable Terry clips that fit both sizes of humbrol tins and the big one is put the can on the shaper ram!!!!!

Gears are MOD1 20t (and hence mesh at 20mm shaft centres).

There are STP (.step) files in the file provided. There are free online viewers for this file type some of which will enable dimensions to be picked off.

Roger usually hangs out on MECH forum, there is a lot more detail of the paint mixer and his previous oiler in his Speedy thread, just needs a bit of searching back.
