Face plate and Angle plate compact workpiece clamps

I did say when I first introduced my workshop videos that I would only publicise on the forum those that were of an advanced nature. However, the face plate/angle plate clamps I am introducing are very simple but can make the task of mounting work pieces onto the face plate or angle plate appreciably easier. This, due to them being much more compact than those normally used.

Another advantage is that the packing is captive ensuring when using a face plate that it cannot be thrown if the clamp becomes loose

With a little forethought and materials and tools available you should be able to make a useful set in an afternoon, or less. Do you have a bandsaw to cut the materials to their length, if not, perhaps add an hour or two, useful exercise though.
