After 25 years with no workshop and not expecting to ever have one again I now have not only a workshop with a Myford ML7-R Tri lever and a Warco WS18 mill/drill but have just finished laying 88 feet of raised PNP track in the garden. Not just a straight as it wends it's way round the house via a slight rise to the far corner of the garden. Also, but living in my bedroom in complete safety and warm and dry, is a 5" gauge Meter Maid (the 0-6-0 version of Sweet Pea. I also have (on order) from RoR a Hercules. I rarely visit my local club as I am a carer and do not leave my disabled friend for long. But he can drive the Maid. It is wonderful to be able to take the engine to the track and not have to worry about being in someone's way and to be able to sit and drink a mug of tea and just enjoy life.
Sorry to bore you all but life has suddely become most enjoyable.
Regards to all model engineers.
Richard.
