Nothing novel about that … It's just a bog-standard drilling and tufting machine devil

I prefer my toilet brushes manually tufted personally. CNC should only really ever stand for crunchy nut cornflakes (other breakfast cereals are available)

You'd better check the PCD of the bristles and parallelism between each stem. If I catch a 7 micron taper on that shaft it's in the reject bin! cheeky

PS. If you go onto aliexpress.com you can find all sorts of strange machines, such as designed for pen making and bendy straws, etc; if you ever felt in the inclination to stretch into the stationery or beverage accessories market.

                      I find this strangely pleasing:

                      Now for paperclips.

If I still had a Cortina that coathanger machine would be a must. I will agree about paperclips though, a hand-cranked version would be the ultimate desktop toy.

                          I've got this theory about paperclips . . .

If you add up all the paperclips ever made then surely we have coated the entire planet in at least 2 inches of 'em by now.

So where are all the paperclips ? 'Cos I can never find one when I need one.

I reckon they are being stored, but stored where?

If they're in the desk drawer of that bloke whose eyes are far too close together in R&D, then that desk drawer presents us with some physics problems of its own. How can his desk drawer possibly contain every paperclip that can no longer be found?

So who's got all the paperclips?

At £30/ton, the scrap thieves are raiding stationary cupboards all over the country and the paperclips are ending up turned into container ships…

You have only half the story.

what do the container ships bring to our shores…………………………More paper clips!
