      Has anyone built a Eureka clock please, and if so what was their experience?  What materials were used for the balance assembly?

        I have a couple of originals which are interesting to work on.

        There are a couple of people on the Electric-clocks forum on Groupsio who have done so, and there is some information  on there.

        discusses the central armature, which needs high magnetic permeability.

            Not sure what shape it is, but could old transformer laminations be a source of material, similar requirements, high permeability and low residual magnetism

                I checked on Espacenet for Eureka Clock Company … and only found these two patents listed … GB and Canadian
