         Hi,

I was google’ing around the internet the other day looking for some engine plans. I found a website with plenty of scanned PDFs from various sources (I believe that the copyright has been obeyed but please check).

        Enjoy the plans.

          Andy,
I would be unsure about the copyright on these. The designs include the Whippet by Westbury which I think is owned by Hemingway now, and also Eric Whittle may have a comment on the copyright to his engine.
          Perhaps our Editor would know.

I would like to know the copyright.

Depending on which forums you read and such like I have seen that the book is still available (at $300+) but the plans are in the public domain.

Hence I thought I would find out from people who might know.

              Hi There
Some of the items breach copyright.
The Whippet is a straight copy from Model engineer magazine.
Not sure about elmers engines but all the designs are available on yahoo groups.
He is selling Ayesha drawings that are probably copyright Model Engineer as well.
              regards David

The Elmer Engines were what I was interested in … but now that I have had a look at the others I have sent the website owner a query about the issue.
