Under the old forum website, one used to receive a regular email when a PM arrived on the forum. This seems to no longer happen. Or maybe it is my settings?

If the regular email reminders have ceased then please keep an eye open for new PM messages, otherwise you may miss them.

      Regards,

      Andrew.

          Hello Jason,

Just been to my email settings and found that my message settings are activated! So I should receive a regular email message when I get a PM, so this looks like a bug, as I do not get the expected message.

          Andrew.

Check it is not going into a spam folder or similar. If not then raise a bug report by clicking the green button at the bottom of this thread

I have had e-mail notification of forum PMs within the last week or so.

Me too so it would seem just the OP is having problems. I can’t access his profile to check if things are set correctly like I used to with the old software so best way to get help from Admin is a report.

                  Hello,

Jason has spotted the problem. The regular emails were going into the spam box! how the devil do I stop that?

                  Thanks,

                  Andrew.

Change the spam settings/blacklist – that’ll either be in your e-mail program, or in settings at your hosting provider if you have your own domain.

May be as simple as select the message in the SPAM/JUNK folder and choose ‘not junk’ or ‘never block sender’ from right click options.
