You say ‘DC Brushless Motor’ with its controller mounted in the lathe base enclosure. If it is brushless then you need a multipole connector, anything from 3 to 6 (or even more) pins). However your mention of 200V probably means it is a brushed motor so a three pole connector would be suitable.

I would suggest IEC C13/C14 pair but because they are so common its possible that somehow/someone might inadvertently think they are carrying normal mains voltage and so if wrongly used create damage or danger.

My suggestion would therefore be to use the much less common IEC C19 and C20 like the ones in these links, lots of other suppliers than RS.

I agree with Ian that a brushless DC motor would require more than 3 wires if properly installed. It is possible that just 3 wires are used, one per phase, but that would indicate the motor is not grounded. That is a safety (and probably EMC) hazard.
A link to the motor specification or supplier would be useful. Is it a sewing machine type?

If this is a connection between a motor drive and a brushless DC motor you should not use a standard C13/14 connector or similar as there is a possibility that someone could plug it directly into the mains. You would also have power on the “earth” conductor, a big no-no. There are connectors intended for this aplication but they are not low cost.

        Robert.

Yes sorry my typo – should have been “brushed”

          Thanks for the new suggestion
