If you can get hold of one of the first copys of MEW there were plans
for a powered hacksaw.  I think it was the third issue, I built one a
couple of years ago and it uses a pravalux motor of about 1/6 hp. It has hacked its way though 4inch brass round with no complaints. Keith.
