In the 1st installment of this build, 28th June 2024, page 96 Fig 3. Can i safely assume that the center for the crankshaft bearing hole is 6mm from the top of the base and not from the bottom as printed?

I don’t really want to make this part again as my silver soldering skills are not very good. but i’m pleased to announce that my filing skills have improved significantly.

If somebody could take a quick look and confirm that i’m not going mad or being paranoid that would be great.

      thanks all

      Paul

        Paul, are you left handed?

If you compare all the other numbers that are against vertical dimensions you will see that the bottom of the numbers are to the right so that 6mm is actually 9mm.

Good to see someone is making one, If you want to message me with an email address I’ll send you the full size A4 versions, These also contain the title block that he Editor decided to omit so have the scale and material on them.

        BL numbers

Thanks Jason. At least I’m on my toe’s and didn’t drill the holes.

I will PM you thank you, that is very generous of you.

          Paul
