E W Cowell drill press

I have an old E W Cowell drill press however when I bought it the electric motor was missing and the old chap I bought it from had ingeniously used a Clarke electric drill inserted into an old motor housing to drive the pulley mechanism. I would like to replace the motor to something resembling the original motor. Searching Google and Youtube I have found some pictures of motors driving this machine however so far emailing a number of electric motor suppliers regarding a suitable motor replacement has not produced any results. If anyone can help I would be very grateful especially the mouting plate where the holes are 123mm and 76mm apart.  Here are some pictures –

That looks like a very standard British mounting to me

… and incidentally, the machine castings have a very strong resemblance to my AMOLCO drill of similar vintage.

Can’t access mine at the moment, I’m afraid … but I think any long-established motor rewinds firm would recognise at once what ‘frame’ you need.
