        Nice neat installation by the way Bob. I'm going to put in an order with ARC myself soon, they seem to attract good feedback, so I'll give 'em a go.

          Hope you made up and replaced the black metal brackets for something more substantial, or you will have errors. The end ones work well. Yes i have tested the deflection.

          One of the three scales i had 13 year ago and look exactly like the Y axis, other two different.

          As Sid said i had same problems battery wouldnt last more than three days. Bought batteries by the bag load. No problem until a remote readout is plugged in.

          Did also have zero probs, wouldnt display at all or gave ficticious readings. Totally different from one day to the next. Think the Z axis still works, others packed up 12 year ago but what do you expect for the dosh.
