So I have a little update for anyone interested.

I decided to buy 3 arbors, test them, and then select the best one

“Interstate” brand – made in India

Visibly the Interstate one is the crudest, some sharp edges, grinding is ok, the threads are quite shallow and not very well formed. In testing, runout was 0.02mm

      Warco – made in China

Warco one is second best. Visibly some sharp edges, grinding good, threads ok. In testing, runout was 0.008mm

Unknown brand, but believed to be Vertex – probably made in Taiwan

Vertex one is best. Less sharp edges, grinding is good with more surfaces ground. Threads look the best of the bunch. In testing, runout was 0.002mm

Needless to say, there was a clear winner. I mounted the Accupro chuck to the vertex arbor. Measuring runout the chuck averages about 0.05mm which I think is reasonably good, fine for my needs.
