Hi, I have a Dore Westbury Mk2 and the spindle has a bit of drag when rotated. Does any one know if the spindle bearing can be lubricated,, Steve

Hi Steve

The Dore I built had a taper roller bearing at the bottom that was greased on assembly, can't remember what bearing was fitted at the top but guess taper roller as well.

If your machine has been stood up perhaps the grease has congealed and needs cleaning and re-lubing.
