Hi all,

Just thought I would tell you of a couple of new machines that I was fortunate enough to see working They are a Dekel Maho DMU 600P 5 axis and a Dekel Maho DMF 260 also 5 axis they have been installed at 1 of my brothers employers and I shudder to think what they cost Really to see machines such as these working is amazing and the metal removal rate is incredible they are used on mostly EN 24t and Inconel 600 and 718 If ever I win the euromillions then the’re for me

edit, have just been informed that the cost of the 2 machines was approaching 5 million .

The machine in your picture looks like 1 of the machines I mentioned [the next time i’m there i’m going to either take some photo’s of the Deckels in action or better still take some video]

Also I was talking to a couple of the millers and they said that Mori Seiki’s are cheaper but the Deckels are the benchmark. So there we have it straight ” Deckel’s have a performance to match their price” Also I was told that Mori Seiki have joined up with DMG

Now I must go and get my lottery ticket .
