In the thread "Obtain multi-issue article" by Dunc, there was a post that advised that single digital copies of ME could be purchased by clicking on th "Digital Back Issues" box at the bottom of the Home page.

I tried this at the time, and it did give me the option to enter a magazine number and purchase a digital copy.

Now, however, I find it invites me to open ITunes, and through there purchase an App which will work with iphone, ipad, etc.  (assuming I can find the App I want, which I couldn't when I had a look).

As I have no "i" devices,(nor do I want any), only a desktop computer, why do I need an App.? And will it work?

        Confused of Lancashire.

            Robbo,

When you get the initial 'ITunes preview' page loaded, click the Model Engineer Support link,

This will take you to the pocketmags site where you can download the PC offline reader for the digital magazines. You can then easily purchase the back issues through the pocketmags store.

            regards

            Graeme

Thanks for that Graeme, still had to search for ME, but found it eventually.

But this is yet another thing that I've got to "join", when I don't want to as I get enough junk mail already.  If this is progress then I'm happy to stay at the back.

So I'll wait until I go into town and buy the issue I want from Smiths.

As I don't belong to "social media" perhaps you'd all like to know that I had toast and honey for breakfast, and I'm just going to have coffee.
