Deleting Site Account

Maybe it is complicated but there is something fundamentally not right take me can’t post or reply on my windows machine or my laptop running Linux mint I’m very lucky if I can get my android table to connect to the forum but on the rare occasions it does connect I can post or reply.

On this I have noticed on the few times I’ve managed to connect the adverts look to be working OK

Hi MichaelG, I agree with your “Grateful for small mercies” a lot less intrusive, and more in line with the other two ads below it, which makes it more tolerable.

I can remember back to when I was about eight years old, and getting a Christmas present with small pop together plastic stick like things, that you could build different objects that one could imagine, they were in all the main colours, plus black and white, but just using black and yellow ones together, made me realise how striking and hard to miss these two together were, and in my day jobs, black and yellow hazard tape was often used to cordon off an area where there was significant danger to others not having clearance or the skills to be in such an area. Many insects use these two together to warn not to mess with them, but others just use them as a bluff.

Hi, with reference to my post above, I just happened to spot some of those plastic stick things on e-bay, which I just had to buy as they were really cheap, and they came this morning.

So I built a small raft with black and yellow, and black and white ones, just to show how I think the black and yellow appear very striking.

However, others may see them differently and think black and white stand out more.

I still can’t remember what these plastic pieces are called, and the person that sold them didn’t know either.

Still have the top panel taking up more screen than the “Features” subject being viewed, is modifying this on the “work to do ” list ?
Ideally the page heading will be closed when opening any of the other links.

I have reported it, does the same on classifieds too.

It does depend on the individual’s screen and zoom settings. I tend to use the PC and zoomed to 110% and this is what I see once scrolled down enough to loose the warco ad. I also get the orange bar which means a bit less shows than if I were logged in as a normal member.

You look to be zoomed in more as it is causing the “subscribe” on the pale blue bar to be wrapped onto the next line which makes the blue bar deeper than it need be. I did create a topic about this.

Going back to the original post title and ignoring all the irrelevant bumf that has been posted since….I’m still here and don’t want to be, the “delete account” option never has worked and I now find that option has disappeared from personal settings. Have mods now got the “power” to exterminate me or have I got to sort it some other way?.
