Darjeeling New Build

Hi Folks,

have just started building a Darjeeling 3.5 loco.

I notice that there have not been any posts here for along time. I assume you are all too busy making your locos.

There dont seem to be many photos around of Darjeeling engines under construction. It seems to be a bit of a rare bird.

I started making one as a change , after a Juliet, Simplex and Sweetpea which I have done its certainly going to be a challenge.

I do have a few questions, such as how is the steam dome cover made. Is it spun or is it fabricated from beaten copper ?
