The Corian being turned to fit the body and drilled through 1mm for the electrode

The insulator is loctite'd in , i also left a slight 'lip' on the top of the body and this was pressed over slightly holding in the insulator. I soldered some brass thread to the tungsten ready for being loctite'd in place

Never made spark plugs, but doesn’t Corian start melting over 100c?

Nicely done on the plugs, by the way.

No idea but researching on the internet it would seem it has been use by others ok.

If they fail i will get my wallet out and buy some.

Time to make a stand , i was given a chunk of alloy a while back , apparently it was used for securing power lines and i have been wandering what i could use it for.

                    img_3191 (medium).jpg

So i cut it in half with a slitting saw

                    img_3205 (medium).jpg

Then milled away to form the stand sides

                    img_3244 (medium).jpg

A couple of cross braces and engine mounts and i now have a stand . A bit unconventional but i like it.

Been a while since i last posted, unfortunately my health let me down so my time was taken up with getting myself better rather than standing in the garage.

Managed to finish the engine and give it a quick run, so happy when it fired into life even though it could do with a bit of fettling.
