CuP Alloys Roadshow in Scotland?

We have been aware for a long time that we haven't done an promotional work in Scotland.

We have been singularly unsuccessful in finding an exhibition venue. Where do you visit or are you content to travel to Doncaster?

We are looking into bringing the roadshow to Scotland. The proposed plan is to attend an exhibition over a weekend and visit societies a few days either side of the exhibition with the talk aimed at brazing successfully.

What are the basic principles.? How do I achieve them?

Hopefully we can amortize the costs making it economically viable to the societies.

Your help and ideas to make this a success is requested..Is your society interested in a talk?

Slightly unrelated, as i'm not anywhere near Scotland. But I would definitely count the advice given by CuP to have been a vital part of my education in brazing.

I can braze virtually anything with a certainty of knowing that it will work. Even with 60/40 silver solder! It's all in the preparation. (Specifically, I didn't know that I was using the wrong type of flux until I read CuP's advice page).

Michael I know the advise on CuP's site is good but how are you brazing with 60/40 solder? That is a tin/lead soft solder, maybe thats where went wrong with your boiler

 

Keith I think there is a small show in the South West of Scotland around the Dumfries area, maybe the size of Guildford or a touch smaller.

Oh come on now Jason be fair. That's not very nice or accurate as I really cannot see how using the wrong 'metal glue' resulted in something that looked like this.
