I would like to get a cross table for my Proxxon TBH 28124. The reviews of the ‘proper’ Proxxon KT 150 are discouraging, mentioning slop/backlash issues.
I would like quality and accuracy, especially when it comes to paying for lifetime tools to make fine models. I’m not an expert by any means, but I do take my tools seriously. I’m told that to help build chassis in the smaller model rail scales, it’s an advantage to have a fence or cross table to help drill accurately aligned axle holes. Not sure about the milling capabilities of that setup, but it would be nice.
I have found Cormac Cross tables suggested as a substitute, but to be sure, I thought to ask old hands about whats best. Are Cormac any good, are there any others?
